Two teenagers have been charged in connection with an attempted murder in South Ayrshire.
Police said the incident happened in Boydfield Gardens, Prestwick, on Saturday.
Two boys, aged 16, were due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday.
Chief inspector Brian Anderson said members of the public can expect an “enhanced police presence” in the town over the coming weeks.
