iStockTwo teenagers have been arrested in connection with the rape of a girl in a North Lanarkshire home.
Officers were alerted to the serious sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl at around 9pm on Sunday and attended the Sandy Park area of Bellshill.
Investigators established that the alleged incident took place within a home between 8.30pm and 9pm.
Officers have arrest two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, in connection with the incident.
Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are still ongoing.
