Two women have been charged after a “disturbance” onboard a Jet2 flight to Glasgow.
Officers arrested and charged a 33-year-old woman and 50-year-old woman around 6.30pm on Saturday, November 16 at Glasgow Airport.
Police said a disturbance took place onboard the Jet2 service from Antalya in Turkey.
The 33-year-old woman is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.30pm on Saturday, November 16 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance on board an aircraft bound for Glasgow Airport.
“A 33-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection.
“She is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
“A 50-year-old woman was charged in connection and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
