A vehicle set alight outside a home in Glasgow is believed to be linked to an ongoing criminal feud.

Emergency services were called to the property on Kingswood Drive around 11.10pm on Wednesday after the car was set alight.

The fire was extinguished, and no one was injured during the incident.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Detectives say they are keeping an “open mind” on whether the incident is connected to a gang war which erupted in March after gunmen targeted two Edinburgh homes in 48 hours.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a vehicle fire outside a property on Kingswood Drive in Glasgow around 11.10pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

“The fire was extinguished and no one was injured.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
