A person was rescued after falling and getting stuck down a gully at a Scottish beauty spot.
Teams from Lomond Mountain Rescue launched a rescue mission on Monday afternoon after being alerted by Police Scotland to reports of a person falling down a gully.
The incident took place just after noon at Finnich Glen near the Devil’s Pulpit – a popular attraction and beauty spot on Loch Lomond.
The walker, unable to get back out after falling down the gully, was rescued by teams using rigging equipment.
The person was said to be “cold but uninjured” in the incident.
Lomond MRT posted on Facebook: “The exact location turned out to be a familiar part of the Devils Pulpit and our now standard rescue rigging arrangement was used to bring the casualty back to the top cold but otherwise uninjured.”
