A walker who was suffering from exhaustion and had been vomiting was rescued on the West Highland Way.
Lomond Mountain Rescue Team were called to assist a hiker north of Inversnaid on Sunday evening.
They found the casualty to be exhausted, sick and unable to continue.
Given the inaccessible location, a multi-agency response was launched, including rescue boats and mountain rangers from Loch Lomond.

The casualty was assessed, warmed and transferred by stretcher back to a point where evacuation by boat was possible.
Crews thanked all involved in the coordinated response and wished the casualty a swift recovery.
