Police have issued a warning to music fans after several phones were stolen at a gig at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
Following a Sum41 gig at the venue on October 27, a number of thefts were reported to police, including several mobile phones.
Investigations have found that a suspect left the show in a vehicle after discarding a bag containing the phones.
Police traced and recovered the vehicle and said owners will have their devices returned.
Inspector Iain Sibbald of Police Scotland, said: “We can confirm that police received several reports of thefts which took place at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, on the evening of Sunday, October 27, 2024.
“It has been established that a suspect left the scene in a vehicle, after discarding a bag containing numerous mobile phones.
“The vehicle was later traced and recovered, and the phones are in the process of being returned to their respective owners.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
The Scottish Event Campus said it has a “robust” security operation in place including “enhanced CCTV”.
“The SEC has a robust security operation in place for all events which includes a large number of stewards on the ground, event control room with enhanced CCTV and an intelligence led approach, working closely with Police Scotland, to assess any suspected criminality”, a spokesperson said.
“The venue also forms part of the National Arenas Association (NAA) group which enables us to share information on behaviours, activities and risks as concerts tour the UK, allowing us to implement measures at specific events.
“We did receive a number of reports of missing phones at the Sum41 event and Police Scotland is aware of a small number of reports made regarding phones being lost or stolen.”
