An appeal has been launched to trace a Glasgow pensioner who entered a train station and may have travelled.
Edward O’Neill was last seen around 1.10pm on Tuesday, July 11, entering Glasgow Central Station from the Gordon Street entrance.
Police, treating the 72-year-old as a missing person, are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him get on a train and find out where he may have been heading.
Likewise, people are being urged to come forward to tell officers if he left the station.
Mr O’Neill is described as around 5ft 6ins tall, bald and of a slim build.
Police ScotlandHe has a Glasgow Celtic badge tattoo on one arm.
When seen at the station he was wearing dark coloured jeans, a black jacket with a fur-trimmed hood and a black beanie hat.
At the time, he was carrying a dark holdall bag with red straps.
Sergeant Dean Shankie said: “Concerns are growing for Edward’s welfare and we are keen to find him to make sure he is safe and well.
“We are asking anyone who was at Glasgow Central Station yesterday around lunchtime to think back and let us know if they may have seen Edward.
“If you know where he might be or have seen him elsewhere then please also get in touch.”
