A woman has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Clydebank during the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to a property on The Crescent around 1.05am following reports of an incident.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Detectives began searching for a man and woman in connection with the incident.
A 19-year-old woman has since been charged in connection with attempted murder and is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 19-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Clydebank.
“The incident happened around 1.05am on Monday, April 7, 2025 at a property on The Crescent.
“The woman is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
