A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Greenock.
Police responded to reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at around 6.45am on Friday on East Shaw Street.
A 62-year-old woman was taken to hospital following the collision. Her current condition is unknown.
Officers said enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Around 6.45am on Friday, February 21, 2025, we were called to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on East Shaw Street in Greenock.
“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 62-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
