A 64-year-old woman has been left injured after being robbed by a teenager in Glasgow.
The victim was standing at the junction between Corkerhill Road and Linthaugh Road in Pollok when she was approached by the boy at around 11.45am on Tuesday.
The thief, described as between 15 and 20-years-old and around 5ft10 with brown hair, forced the woman’s bag from her hands causing her to fall to the ground.
Emergency services attended and the injured woman recieved medical attention at the scene.
The suspect, who was wearing a blue padded jacket with black jogging trousers and trainers, made off the bag.
Police are now appealing for information in a bid to trace him.
Constable Sean Kennedy of Greater Glasgow Division’s Robbery Unit said: “This was a frightening experience for the woman and we want to speak to anyone who may have seen this robbery place, or has information that will assist our enquiry.
“Anyone with information should contact Helen Street Police Station through 101.”
