Woman, 81, dies in hospital after being traced following search

An 81-year-old woman has died in hospital after being traced by police following a search in Dumfries and Galloway.

Officers confirmed on Tuesday that Nancy Hill from Kirkcudbright, who had been reported missing, was traced following a search.

She was then taken to the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where she passed away.

Officers said her relatives are aware.
