iStockA woman was arrested at a home in Coatbridge in connection with an assault the previous day.
Police attended a property on Colt Avenue at around 12.25pm on Thursday as part of an investigation into an attack which happened on Wednesday.
Officers have charged a 34-year-old woman in connection. She is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, officers attended an address in the Colt Avenue area of Coatbridge as part of enquiries relating to a report of an assault on Wednesday, June 11.
“A 34-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection and is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Friday, June 13.”
