A woman has been charged after a person was hit by a car in Castlemilk.
A 31-year-old woman was struck on Birgidale Road at Downcraig Road around 10.25am on Friday.
She was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Her condition is currently unknown.
Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old woman in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.25am on Friday, May 2, 2025, we received a report of a 31-year-old woman struck by a car on Birgidale Road at Downcraig Road, Castlemilk.
“She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 33-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff court at a later date.”
