A woman has been charged more than a year after a crash with a parked car killed a man in Inverclyde.
Scott McFadden was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf when it collided with an unoccupied Peugeot in the Clune Brae area of Port Glasgow on Monday, December 16, 2024.
Emergency services attended at around 9.55pm and the 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 52-year-old female driver was arrested in December 2024 and released pending further enquiries.
She was charged in connection on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal, police said.
Constable Robert Mackie said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Scott at this time who are being supported by officers.”
