A woman has been charged in connection with an attempted murder after a man was found seriously injured in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to a property on Ballater Street in the city around 1.45am on Friday morning.
A 30-year-old man was found injured and taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
Officers said the incident followed an earlier disturbance in the Ballater Street area around 8pm on Thursday evening.
The 33-year-old woman is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
A 30-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Bruce Fyfe said: “This was an isolated incident and our investigation to establish the full circumstances is continuing.
“There will be a continued police presence in the area and anyone with concerns can approach these officers.
“I would again ask any witnesses who haven’t already spoken to police to please get in touch. In addition, anyone with any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage is asked to come forward.”
