A woman has died after she was found seriously injured following a disturbance on a street in Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the St Mungo Avenue area of the city at around 12.55pm on October 29 following reports of a disturbance.
Upon arrival a woman was discovered with serious injuries. Medical teams pronounced her dead a short time later.
Investigators are treating the death as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The nature of the disturbance is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 12.55pm on Tuesday, October 29, to a report of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a woman was found seriously injured. She was pronounced dead a short time later.
“Officers remain at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
