An investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead in a car in Glasgow.
Police were called to reports of an unresponsive woman in a vehicle on Sunnylaw Street around 11.15pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended and a 50-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are treating the death as unexplained, and an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.15pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, we received a report of an unresponsive woman in a vehicle on Sunnylaw Street in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended however the 50-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin is aware.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
