A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in an attempted murder in Renfrewshire.
The 49-year-old was struck in the Clippens Road area of Linwood at around 3.45pm on Tuesday.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.
Police are treating the incident as attempted murder and are hunting for the car involved.
Detective sergeant Kenny Taggart, of Paisley CID, said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and trace the car involved. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to officers to come forward.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to contact us.”
