A woman has been found dead at a property in North Lanarkshire after police were called to a disturbance.
Officers were called to Renfrew Place in Coatbridge on Saturday morning.
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident around 5.25am.
Detective inspector Pauline Thomson said: “Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at a property, which is currently being treated as suspicious, and a 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with this.”
