One lucky ticket holder has not yet claimed the £83.4jackm pot prize from last week’s EuroMillions draw.
Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets as it is the “biggest prize to go unclaimed for six days”, a lottery operator spokesman said on Friday.
The mystery winner matched all five main numbers – 02, 11, 19, 30 and 49 – as well as the Lucky Star numbers, which were 03 and 08.
An Allwyn spokesman told the PA news agency it was “very unusual” for such a large prize to go unclaimed for days, adding that it was the “biggest prize to have gone unclaimed at this stage”.
“It is in everybody’s interest that this prize is claimed,” the spokesman added.
If the prize is still not claimed by next Friday, Allwyn said it will do “bespoke activity” in the area where the ticket was purchased.
According to The National Lottery website, there are currently nine other EuroMillions prizes that UK ticket-holders can still claim.
The largest prize ever to be claimed by an anonymous winner was a jackpot of £195 million in 2022.
Ticket holders have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize.
