New Epstein files show email from ‘A’ asking Maxwell for ‘inappropriate friends’

The new files includes emails from an individual known as “A” to Ghislaine Maxwell and references to Donald Trump on Epstein’s flight records.

More files linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have been released by the US Justice Department on Tuesday.

They include emails between Epstein’s longtime associate, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and an individual referred to as “The Invisible Man”, using the email address ‘abx17@dial.pipex.com’.

US President Donald Trump’s name also appears in the latest release, including references to flight records linked to Epstein’s private plane.

The files, first released on Friday, shed further light on Epstein and include images featuring Bill Clinton, Peter Mandelson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The files mention many individuals, and being named does not imply that there was any wrongdoing.

The newly released email from August 16 2001, appears to have been sent to Maxwell from the “Invisible Man”, who signed off the email with “A xxx”.

The person, who said they were at the “Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family”, asked if Maxwell had “found me some new inappropriate friends” to have “fun” with.

The email said: “I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family. Activities take place all day and I am totally exhausted at the end of each day.

“The Girls are completely shattered and I will have to give them an early night today as it is getting tiring splitting them up all the time!

“How’s LA? Have you found me some new inappropriate friends? Let me know when you are coming over as I am free from 25th August until 2nd Sept and want to go somewhere hot and sunny with some fun people before having to put my nose firmly to the grindstone for the Fall.

“Any ideas gratefully received! See ya A xxx.”

Later on the same day, Maxwell replied: “So sorry to dissapoint [sic] you, however the truth must be told.

“I have only been able to find appropriate friends.

“Will let you know about some church meetings on those dates. Kisses. Gx.”

The individual responded to Maxwell on August 18: “Distraught! You probably wouldn’t know but I lost my valet on Thursday.

“He died in his sleep. He had been with me since I was 2. I am a little off balance as not only has my office been restructured, I have left the RN and now my whole life is in turmoil as I have no one to look after me.”

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor left the Royal Navy the month before this email was sent.

The email goes on: “He was a real rock and almost a part of the family.

“If you have any good ideas as to how to get my mind back on track I’d be grateful for advice.

“See you real soon… I hope if you are coming over. A xxx.”

The context of the email is unclear, and the identity of “The Invisible Man” is currently unknown. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing.

“2 legged sight seeing”

In another email sent from Ghislaine Maxwell to “The Invisible Man”, an ‘Andrew’ is mentioned by name in the context of what appears to be Maxwell helping arrange a trip in Peru.

“I just gave Andrew your telephone no. He is interested in seeing the Nazca Lines”.

The email reads: “He can ride but it is not his favorite sport ie pass on the horses.

“Some sight seeing some 2 legged sight seeing (read intelligence pretty fun and from good families) and he will be very happy.

“I know I can rely on you to show him a wonderful time and that you will only introduce him to friends that you can trust and rely on to be friendly and discreet and fun.

“He does not want to read about any trip in the papers whom or what he saw.

“Call me if you have any questions – otherwise you can expect a very English sounding gentleman on the phone to call up and say hi.”

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has previously strongly denied any wrongdoing and has not commented on the recent file releases.

The former prince was stripped of his remaining titles in November amid growing scrutiny over his relationship with Epstein.

The files also include an email from an assistant US attorney in the Southern District of New York, dated 8 January 2020, stating that Trump “travelled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware).”

Trump was listed as a passenger on “at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four flights on which (Ghislaine) Maxwell was also present,” the email said.

On a flight in 1993, Trump and Epstein “are the only two listed passengers; on another, the only three passengers are Epstein, Trump, and then-20-year-old.”

The assistant US attorney also said in the email, which was sent during Trump’s first term: “On two other flights, two of the passengers, respectively, were women who would be possible witnesses in a Maxwell case.”

The assistant attorney added: “We’ve just finished reviewing the full records (more than 100 pages of very small script) and didn’t want any of this to be a surprise down the road.”

Trump and Epstein had a long-standing association, but authorities have not accused Trump of any criminal wrongdoing related to Epstein.

The so-called “Epstein files” include photographs, call logs, grand jury testimony and interview transcripts, as well as large volumes of illegal child sexual abuse material and other pornography, the DOG said.

The DOJ said the files contain no incriminating “client list” and found no credible evidence that Epstein blackmailed prominent figures.

It added that none of the material would justify investigations into “uncharged third parties.”

Who was Jeffrey Epstein?

Epstein was a millionaire money manager known for socialising with celebrities, politicians, billionaires and the academic elite, who was accused of sexually abusing underage girls.

His relationships with powerful people have been the subject of endless fascination and speculation.

Police in Palm Beach, Florida, began investigating Epstein in 2005 after he was accused of paying a 14-year-old girl for sex.

The FBI then joined the investigation, but Epstein made a secret deal with the US attorney in Florida to avoid federal charges, enabling him to plead guilty in 2008 to a relatively minor state-level prostitution charge.

He served 13 months in a jail work-release programme.

In 2019, during Trump’s first term, Manhattan federal prosecutors revived the case and charged Epstein with sex trafficking, alleging he sexually abused dozens of girls. He died by suicide in jail a month after his arrest.

In 2021, a federal jury in Manhattan convicted Epstein’s longtime confidante and former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, of sex trafficking for helping recruit some of his underage victims. She is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
