Activists have projected images of US President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein onto the side of Windsor Castle.
Less than 24 hours before Trump heads to Windsor for his unprecedented second state visit, the stone walls of the royal residence were illuminated by images of the president and the convicted sexual predator.
No organisation has yet taken credit for the visual display, but it comes after anti-billionaire collective Everyone Hates Elon promised to plaster the image “all over the UK”.
The relationship between Trump and Epstein has come under renewed scrutiny after Democrats in Congress released a sexually suggestive letter to Epstein last week, which they say was signed by the President.
The letter was allegedly included as part of a 2003 album compiled for Epstein’s birthday.
The president has denied penning the note.
Epstein died by suicide in a Manhattan jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sexually abusing and trafficking underage girls. His arrest followed a secret plea deal made over a decade earlier in Florida involving similar allegations.
Epstein was accused of paying minors for massages before molesting them, and his case continues to implicate high-profile figures through the so-called “Epstein files.”
Trump, who has denied close ties to Epstein, was quoted in 2002 calling him a “terrific guy” who enjoyed the company of “younger” women.
Though Trump claimed he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago around 2000, investigative reports show Epstein was formally removed in 2007.
The Trump Organization confirmed Epstein had visited the club but denied he was a member.
