A popular crisp brand has been recalled in Scotland amid fears of allergies not being listed on the label.

Customers who purchased Ruffles Sabor a Jamόn Crisps – originally from Spain – are being warned milk and soya allergies are not listed on the packet in English.

This presents a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and or an allergy to soya, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) said.

The recall notice, issued by 3D Trading, affects 150g pack sizes and all batch codes and all best before dates.

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores selling the affected product.

The notice affects Northern Ireland and Scotland specifically.
