A private jet crash in Russia has killed ten people, and Wagner mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was on the passenger list, authorities have reportedly said.
Seven passengers and three crew members were on board the Embraer aircraft, state-owned news agency TASS reported.
En route from Moscow to St Petersburg, the jet is said to have crashed in the Tver region, north of Moscow.
Prigozhin, who is believed to have been on board the flight, shared his first video address since his attempted mutiny two days ago.
“An investigation of the Embraer plane crash that happened in the Tver Region this evening was initiated.
“According to the passenger list, first and last name of Yevgeny Prigozhin was included in this list,” a statement by The Federal Agency for Air Transport of Russia, Rosaviatsiya, reportedly said.
