A man was struck by a car in Fraserburgh's Topping Gardens on Sunday evening.

A suspect has been charged in connection with attempted murder after a man was hit by a car in Aberdeenshire. 

On Sunday around 8.05pm, police received a report that a man was injured after being struck by a car in Topping Gardens, Fraserburgh.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the incident. 

He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
