Police ScotlandA man has been arrested after allegedly being found carrying a large machete in Glasgow.
Officers arrested the male who was in possession of the weapon in Pollok on Tuesday.
Police confirmed that the item had been seized and is no longer within the local community.
The man is due to appear in court at a later date.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
