A three-car crash involving a Tesla in Glasgow has left an 87-year-old woman and two others in hospital.
Emergency services were called to the A879 Balmore Road, at around 3.15pm on Wednesday, after a Vauxhall Corsa, a Vauxhall Crossland and a Tesla were involved in a collision.
The driver of the Corsa, an 87-year-old woman, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Officials confirmed that the 31-year-old driver of the Crossland and the 26-year-old driver of the Tesla, both women, were also taken to the hospital.
The road was closed until around 7.35pm on Wednesday to allow for an investigation at the scene.
Constable Kieran Grant said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances which led to this crash and would urge anyone with information to get in touch.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
