Emergency services called to reservoir following body discovery

A man’s body has been discovered at a reservoir in Edinburgh.

A 45-year-old was pronounced dead at Torduff Reservoir after emergency services were called to the scene at 4pm on Sunday.

Police Scotland said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the body of a man found at Torduff Reservoir in Edinburgh around 4pm on Sunday, May 5.

“The 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
