Veterans charity launches first-ever public fundraising campaign

Costs to renovate homes have nearly doubled in the past three years, alongside other spiralling bills.

For the first time in its 110-year history, the charity Veterans Housing Scotland has launched a public fundraising campaign.

Bosses say that the costs associated with providing affordable rentals to those who have served have spiralled in recent years.
