A man has been arrested following a disturbance in Edinburgh which left another man with a head injury.
A large number of emergency service vehicles were seen around Henderson Street in Leith on Sunday afternoon.
An eyewitness told the PA news agency a man was taken into an ambulance bleeding heavily.
Police Scotland said officers were called to a disturbance on the neighbouring Parliament Street at 12.40pm.
One man has been arrested and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “One man has been taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment to a head injury.
“One man has been arrested and inquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone who may have information can call police on 101, quoting incident 1374 of April 19.”
