Scots are facing travel disruption as ‘severe’ flooding has closed a major road.
It comes after flood warnings were issued and the Met Office extended an alert for heavy rain in the wake of Storm Babet across the weekend.
Traffic Scotland reported on Monday morning that the A92 is currently closed in both directions between Melville Lodges and Parbroath.
An update was issued at 7.30am, where it was revealed Kilmany to Forgan Roundabout was closed in both directions due to the severity of the flooding.
Flood operation company North-East Trunk Roads are currently at the scene in an effort to get the road fully operational.
Drivers have been urged to use an alternative route at this time and a local diversion route has been issued.
